SAPICS Annual Conference



SAPICS was founded in 1966 and is South Africa's leading source of knowledge and expertise in Operations Management, including production, inventory, materials management, purchasing, distribution and logistics.

The Association is closely affiliated to APICS, The Association for Operations
Management in America. A professional membership-based Association, SAPICS aims to
advance individuals and organisations in the field of supply chain and operations management, through participation in its educational programmes, conferences and events.

The Supply Chain Council (SCC) is a global, not-for-profit trade association open to all types of organizations. It sponsors and supports educational programs including conferences, retreats, benchmarking studies, and development of the Supply-Chain Operations Referencemodel (SCOR), the process reference model designed to improve users' efficiency and productivity. The Council is dedicated to improving the supply chain efficiency of its practitioner members.

The Association's Annual Conference is built on a reputation of being the premier educational and networking event in Africa for Supply Chain and Operations Management professionals. The conference is designed to offer practical and relevant information by providing delegates with excellent educational presentations, case studies, idea exchange sessions, interactive workshops and exceptional networking opportunities.

Since its inception in 1976 the SAPICS Conference and Exhibition has gone from strength to strength now attracting over 1000 attendees.
