SAPICS was created to represent the interests of supply chain and operations management professionals in the global supply chain.

Educate - To be the leading provider of up-to-date, relevant supply chain and operations education across the African continent. In so doing, SAPICS is making a meaningful contribution to addressing the skills shortage on the continent which is such a vital prerequisite to its development and progress.
Grow Membership - To continually grow our membership by providing outstanding value, support and global representation.
Grow Alliances - To cultivate strong alliances with like-minded associations.
Increase Knowledge Sharing - To facilitate the sharing of knowledge, for the benefit of our members and the African supply chain and operations profession.

Support Transformation - SAPICS believes that transformation is essential, and seeks to address South Africa's historic imbalances through alliances and associations with black professionals, enterprises and suppliers, contributing wherever possible to the development and empowerment of previously disadvantaged South Africans.
Building Individual's Capability - SAPICS strives to have a meaningful impact on individuals, organizations and our professions, by providing high quality educational programmes and events that are relevant and up-to-date, and unsurpassed in value and quality.
Preferred Association for Supply Chain Professionals - SAPICS strives to maintain its' position as the Association for Operations Management of Southern Africa, with whom members, partners, affiliates and the profession as a whole, are proud to be associated.
Making Education Accessible - SAPICS seeks to improve the quality of life of those less fortunate, by providing sponsored educational opportunities, and through the ongoing support of relevant fundraising initiatives.
