SAPICS courses are offered via our network of Authorised Education Providers (AEP) These AEPs are organisations that comprise of professionals that offer training in the supply chain sector, many of which have long-standing associations with SAPICS and the industry. AEPs provide lecturers that are highly experienced and all have an in-depth knowledge of Supply chain and operations management. They also have access to training facilities and have a good standing in industry.
All lecturers presenting SAPICS or APICS courses via an AEP are expected to comply with` strict quality standards and must comply with the following requirements:
The lecturers must demonstrate competence by means of a portfolio of relevant teaching experience in the Operations Management field
The lecturer must have successfully obtained the qualification one level higher to that of the qualification/programme that he wishes to lecture
The lecturer must have completed the Train the Trainer programme (APICS) or equivalent
The lecturer has applied to or is currently a participant in the APICS Instructor development Programme. (link to APICS page)
The lecturer will be assessed by SAPICS to ensure quality education delivery
Courses that are scheduled and run in a classroom environment by a lecturer.
Courses that are run on the premises of a company for the company employees.
