Registration Process
NB – all existing CSCP Candidates: For the 2012 education year, both APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Learning System and the APICS CSCP exam will be extensively updated to ensure their continued relevance to the market. Please review this message thoroughly as it contains information important to your completion of the APICS CSCP designation.
As an APICS CSCP candidate you have already made the commitment to further your career through continuing your education and expanding your supply chain knowledge. By completing the APICS CSCP designation this year you will realise the benefits of the certification including demonstrating your commitment to the profession to your employer and your peers.
We encourage individuals who have begun on the path to obtain the APICS CSCP designation to complete the exam this year. Waiting until next year may cause candidates to spend additional time studying and cross referencing the information contained in the 2011 and 2012 materials. To assist candidates in completing the APICS CSCP designation in 2011, an additional exam window has been added this year. In addition, there will be a final opportunity for candidates to take in the April 7, May 19 2012 window.
Exam Registration Forms must be completed and submitted to SAPICS Head Office by the relevant
registration deadline. Please note that you will be sent an email confirming your registration, advising reschedule and cancellation terms and attaching invoice, if you do not receive such email your form has not been received and you will therefore not be registered!!
The exam is made up of 175 multiple choice questions. Exams are done by pencil and paper but as of
2010 CBT examinations are available in Midrand, which means that when you write your exam you are able to get your score at the end of your test, if you are not successful you are able to re‐book
immediately for a re‐write but can only choose a date 2 weeks later than the exam you have just taken.
Time allowed to complete the CSCP exam is 4 hours.
Please note that when you purchase the CSCP material you get online access for a period of 12
months from date of first logging in. Only a one‐time access extension is offered for 6 months so you need to be committed to write the exam within 18 months.

CPIM EXAM CENTRES
(Please note exam centres may only be available provided a minimum of 15 registrations are booked)
Each exam is made up of multiple choice questions: BSC has 105 questions and the remaining 4 modules have 85 questions.
At present the exams are pen and paper exams.
Time allowed to complete the CPIM exam is 3 hours.
The length of time required to complete the programme is entirely dependent upon you. You can only take a maximum of two modules per exam date - one morning exam and one afternoon exam:-
Many candidates successfully complete two exams in one day. However, the choice is entirely yours - do you have sufficient time to study two modules at the same time? Many lecturers would advise sitting one at a time.
