NB – all existing CSCP candidates: For the 2012 educational year, both the APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCO) Learning System and the APICS CSCP exam will be extensively updated to ensure their continued relevance to the market. Please review this message thoroughly as it contains important information to your completion of the APICS CSCP designation.
As an APICS CSCP candidate you have already made the commitment to further your career through continuing your education and expanding your supply chain knowledge. By completing the APICS CSCP designation this year you will realize the benefits of the certification including demonstrating your commitment to the profession to your employer and your peers.
We encourage individuals who have begun on the path to obtain the APICS CSCP designation to complete the exam this year. Waiting until next year may cause candidates to spend additional time studying and cross referencing the information contained in the 2011 and 2012 materials. To assist candidates in completing the APICS CSCP designation in 2011, an additional exam window has been added this year. In addition, there will be a final opportunity for candidates to take in the April 7-May 19, 2012 window.
The CSCP programme is an industry educational certification programme that has been created to meet the rapidly changing needs of the supply chain professional. This programme was launched in 2005 and since then 6500 CSCP's have achieved their designation globally.
The CSCP programme takes a broad view of the supply chain management field extending beyond internal operations to encompass all the steps throughout the supply chain - from supplier, through the company to the end consumer. The CSCP provides you with the knowledge to effectively manage the integration of these activities to maximize a company's value chain.

Duration
The CSCP can be successfully completed in 3 months, however most students prefer 6 months as this is an intense learning intervention.

Eligibility:
To be eligible to study the CSCP a candidate must meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- CPIM, CFPIM,CIRM or CPM designation plus 2 years related business experience
- Five years related business experience
N.B. individual must submit an eligibility form to APICS and receive an acceptance letter from them prior to purchasing material. Failure to comply may result in APCIS rejecting your exam registration at a later date. Click here for your eligibility form

Exams and Assessments
