Membership 2012

Membership of SAPICS enables individuals countrywide to benefit from the variety of business learning opportunities, event attendance and professional development in a structured and cost effective manner. Supply chain and operations management professionals are increasingly recognising the benefits of SAPICS membership.

Membership runs from January to December 2012 with renewals due from 31st December 2012. Various membership options are offered:

INDIVIDUAL PACKAGES

Individual Membership of SAPICS

Cost R670.00 per year incl. VAT

Benefits:

  • Discounted registration fees to attend the SAPICS Annual Conference 3 – 5 June 2012
  • Discounted registration fees to attend the Annual Regional Events
  • Discounted registration fees to attend allied Associations' events where negotiated by SAPICS e.g. Lean Summit Africa 2012
  • Free attendance at all the Professional Development events including Professional Development Breakfasts, Site Visits, Business Partner Events etc.
  • Discounted rates on Education Material [where applicable]
  • Discounted registration fees for APICS CPIM and CSCP Examination fees
  • The opportunity to volunteer for election to become a SAPICS Director at the Annual General Meeting
  • The opportunity to vote for SAPICS directors at the SAPICS Annual General Meeting
  • The opportunity to attend the SAPICS Annual General Meeting and be involved in discussions and issues affecting the Association
  • Receive regular and informative newsletters from SAPICS
  • Membership card
  • 1 point earned per year towards your CPIM and CSCP maintenance programme

Professional Membership

Cost R1,900.00 per year incl. VAT

The Professional Membership includes membership of the international body of APICS, The Association for Operations Management in the USA as well as individual membership of SAPICS.

Student Membership

Cost R160.00 per year incl. VAT

This membership opportunity is available to individuals studying at any University or College. (Proof of student status will be required)

STANDARD CORPORATE PARTNER PACKAGE

  • Complimentary registration to all Professional Development events organised by SAPICS extended to all corporate representatives limited to a maximum of 3 attendees from the same organisation

  • Discounted Exhibition stand rates [subject to availability of exhibition stands]

SAPICS recognises that organisations have different and unique requirements with regard to membership,that might not fit these categories above. Please note that all Membership / Corporate Packages run strictly from January through December of any given year. Packages can be tailor made to suit your requirements. Half year Memberships / Corporate Packages are available at a 50% discount following the SAPICS Annual Conference in June, these memberships will run from July 2012 through December 2012.
