In this highly interactive session, delegates will be asked to take on the role of a management team member in the Lightning Bolt Company and work with the team to develop the business strategy and respond to the challenges of the business environment. Respond to changing circumstances and opportunities and discover the necessary activities for success. This session will give participants the opportunity to use available resources and foundational concepts to better manage their work lives. You will learn 20 foundational concepts necessary for business success and leave with a new awareness and appreciation for the importance of applying these concepts in all areas of your professional life.

About Claire Bloom

Claire Bloom is the Founder and Executive Director of End 68 Hours of Hunger, a private non-profit organization established to confront the 68 hours of hunger experienced by some local children between the free lunch they receive in school on Friday and the free breakfast they receive in school on Monday. End 68 Hours of Hunger is a 100% volunteer organization committing 100% of all funds donated to the purchase of food (unless the donor otherwise designates the funds to another purpose). We currently feed 1000 children weekly in 34 New England and California Towns. Claire has Master Degrees in Strategic Intelligence and Educational Leadership, and is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Master Practitioner. She is certified in Integrated Resource Management by APICS, the Operations Society for Resource Management. She retired from the United States Navy in 1998.

End 68 Hours of Hunger feeds nearly 3000 children each weekend through 41 programs in eight states. Claire Bloom has co-authored two more books with Keith Launchbury, Journey: Unleashing to Power of Business Integration and All Systems Down, a post global warming apocalyptic novel.
