Presentation 2

Artificial Intelligence: a blessing and a curse for logistics

“AI is at the forefront of the fourth industrial revolution and is, arguably, the most disruptive technology our economies and social systems will have to cope with in the coming decades.  AI is going to affect every aspect of the economy and will require a response from employers, employees, parliament, regulators and the insurance industry.  We will look at the basis for current liability and how this basis is hopelessly inadequate for dealing with AI and the additional risks it poses.  We will examine how this will affect risk management and the need for additional insurance.  If you are involved in logistics, you will be affected by AI in every aspect of your business.”
