Session Objective:

Victor Hugo called 40 “the old age of youth”; Suzy Welch from Harvard Business Review said, it is the time when you see glimmers of what will become wisdom. The conventional thinking is that you’re still reasonably young, but that everything is declining. When you combine the above with VUCA times, we have to start getting ready for our stronger second act. The secret weapon to navigating these Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous times is Emotional Intelligence.

Higher EQ leaders are more likely to make better decisions, engage and influence their businesses more effectively, as well as create the right mood for the job. Case studies have proven a strong link between superior performing leaders and emotional competence. The conclusion is powerful: “Emotional competence differentiates successful leaders.”

Innovative organisations have begun testing how to integrate EQ to gain competitive advantage. The Emotional intelligence competencies are measurable and learnable, they can be improved through training and coaching; and this is the objective of the workshop. The International Program will be facilitated by a certified coach and presented as a workshop. 


EQ may be essential to differentiating world-class organisations in an increasingly complex and competitive marketplace, and these skills are the foundation of high-performing organisations. EQ has twice the power of IQ to predict performance. EQ is also a better predictor than employee skill, knowledge or expertise. Emotional Intelligence is being smarter with feelings.

The workshop will be an introduction for Emotional Intelligence for the workplace. The methodology and neuroscience of Emotional Intelligence as well an EQ assessment and a how to facilitate a more positive workplace and a model to help people collaborate with and influence others.
