About

"Supply chain risk management (SCRM) is a multifaceted field involving the identification, assessment, treatment and monitoring of supply chain risks. There are a variety of methodologies and tools used within and between organizations in order manage the inherent risks associated with supply chains in general.

One of the areas that is a focus of SCRM is that of inventory management. This involves the supply, maintenance, and delivery of inventory at the right time, for the right price, in the right quantities, while simultaneously maintaining an inventory buffer for unexpected demand that is not so large that it becomes a liability rather than an asset.

Obtaining this inventory management structure has been made immeasurably more achievable with the introduction of Demand Driven Material Resource Planning, which has been designed to achieve the exact objectives just described. Join us for a discussion of how you can apply DDMRP in your organization to address inventory risk management."
