Webinar with Joe Walden - Just in Time / Six SIGMA / TOC - Same programs with different approach to problem solving

Industry has used the Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma, Lean and Just in Time as tools for inventory management, quality programs and continuous process improvement programs for the past 3 decades. Each of these tools have produced phenomenal gains and improvements in large and small companies. The goal of this program is to show the similarities of the programs and show that they are basically the same tool with different approaches to problem solving by looking at the background of the tools and their implementation steps.

Biography of the speaker:

Joe Walden has over 40 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics as a practitioner, consultant and educator. He designed and operated a 40-hectare distribution centre in Kuwait to support operations in Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan. He currently teaches supply chain management and decision making at the University of Kansas. Joe is certified as a CPIM-F from the ASCM and a demonstrated master logistician by the International Society of Logistics. He is also certified in Six Sigma and Lean.
