|COVID-19 - Education updates|
In light of recent Shelter-in-Place and Stay-at-Home orders to slow and stop the spread of COVID-19, ASCM have implemented changes to how their community of supply chain professionals will study and test for APICS Certifications.
Learning System Updates
Printed books are temporarily suspended, and will be shipped out once production and shipping operations return to normal. Everything in the printed books is available digitally. When our production and shipping teams are able to resume operations, printed books will be shipped to customers who purchased during that time.

We then received further information regarding the new OnVUE online testing option:
A formal communication regarding the launch of the new OnVUE online testing platform was sent to candidates on Monday March 30. ASCM has updated the APICS Exam Handbook and created a tutorial for scheduling exams for the OnVUE platform. Both of these documents have been posted on the ASCM website and can be accessed via the links below:
However, as a friendly reminder, candidates that currently have a testing appointment scheduled to take their exam at a local test center cannot select OnVUE while rescheduling.
OnVUE exams will not be available in; Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Slovenia, Japan, Syria, and China.
OnVUE exams require candidates to select it as a testing platform at the onset of scheduling. Because of this a candidate cannot change their selected platform during the rescheduling process. To that end candidates scheduled at a local brick and mortar test center will need to have their exam cancelled in order to schedule an OnVue exam. Instructions for this have been provided to candidates in the marketing email.
The ID policy for OnVUE exams is different from that which is applied when taking an exam at a test center. Please visit the APICS OnVUE landing page on the Pearson VUE website for details.
