KEABETSWE MPANE

SAPICS President 

 

Keabetswe Mpane affectionately known as “KEA” has in-depth experience in the supply chain and has served on various boards.  She is a passionate supply chain professional championing various initiatives that aims to professionalise and seek proficiency of the supply chain profession.  The biggest contribution will be in achieving designations within the supply chain across sectors and bringing pride to the trade.  She strives to bring transformation to the most challenged industry which can contribute greatly to the economic revitalisation and industrialisation of our country.  Her stead leadership saw her be awarded as a finalist for Africa’s most influential woman in business and government in 2014 amongst other accolades . Having been a director for 5 years for SAPICS, she believes she has gained enough experience to drive the association through its new era of renewal and transformation .

RICHARD DOS SANTOS

SAPICS Director

 

As a director of CLX, Richard has been involved with SAPICS throughout his professional career.  He has participated as a SAPICS Authorised Education Partner as well as an active member of the SAPICS Executive Committee.  He continues to work in a SAPICS Board and Exco chairman capacity to advance the interest and transformation of SAPICS to become a recognised professional body serving the African continent. 

 

Utilising his unique professional skill set and given the strategic undertakings that SAPICS has engaged in, Richard believes he can continue to add value in shaping the final service offering that will define SAPICS as the premier supply chain association on the continent. He has an extensive network of supply chain customers, partners and business associates that he can continue to call on to participate in the collaborative building efforts that will need to be fostered throughout the term one would serve on the board of directors. 

NAT MAELANE

SAPICS Director

 

Nat Maelane (FCIPS) is a seasoned supply chain leader with 37 years’ experience in both multisector private industries and diverse SOE’s environments. During his career, he has a developed and implemented supply chain best practices which have contributed to the competitiveness and sustainability of the entities he worked for.

 

He has been very active in professionalization of supply chain practitioners. He was a founding member of the Institute of Purchasing South Africa (IPSA) and subsequent Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPSSA). During his tenure at CIPSSA he was both a Board member and Chairperson of the Education Trust. He contributed to governance, strategic direction and transformation. He is currently EXCO member of Sappi SA, Board member of ECIP SPV1 (Pty) Ltd and PAMDEV NPC. His contribution will be in areas of corporate governance, strategic direction, transformation and continued professionalization of supply chain


KAMOGELO MAMPANE

SAPICS Director

 

Kamogelo Mampane (MBA, FCIPS) is the Chief Executive of TK Global Experts. His company offers Supply Chain Advisory services to companies, board members and Executive Committees. They also assist companies to implement leading practice supply chain principles, Training and IT Solutions to optimise their Procurement and Supply Chain process by working with OEM‘s to increase transparency and effectiveness in the value chain.

He implemented Supply Chain leading practices in the mining industry, financial services, utilities, operations and logistics. He is a thought leader in Strategic Procurement, Supplier and Enterprise Development, Spend Transformation / Diversity and assists companies to leverage on Supply Chain and Procurement to achieve South African development goals. Kamogelo will, in his capacity bring a wealth of experience and expertise to SAPICS.

 

SORAB MULLAN

Sorab represents Fortna in a leadership role for the EMEA region.   Sorab has been fortunate to work across multiple regions that include but not limited to South Africa, United Kingdom, Europe, India and some of the African countries, coupled with exposure of having worked across different industries.   Sorab has a strong academic background which includes Masters in Marketing Management with South African Qualifications Authority certifying it at NQF Level 9. Also completed the Mobile Academy Professional Development from the University College London.   Sorab is an active member of SAPICS 

 

MUNGO PARK

SAPICS Director

 

Mungo Park is a Senior Key Account Director at DSV South Africa., a global supply chain service provider. He has been actively involved in developing supply chain solutions for retailers.  Prior to joining DSV, Mungo spent twenty years with IBM in a number of roles. Mungo was previously the  President of SAPICS, the professional Body for Supply Chain Management in South Africa.


MJ SCHOEMAKER 

SAPICS Director 

 

MJ Schoemaker (CSCP, CPF) is a supply chain professional with over 30 years of global experience across various pillars of supply chain within a good mix of sectors such as FMCG, High Tech, Consumer goods and Pharma. MJ believes that she will be able to contribute to the Board with her industry knowledge and large network as well as her professionalism and presence across all levels of a company hierarchy and culture.

MJ was a board member for Global FMCG company and has a vast track record of executive supply chain positions including Global Director of PLAN Centre of Excellence. Her understanding of the supply chain career path, and how to navigate it as well as the importance of education would be an invaluable asset to SAPICS. MJ is extremely passionate about supply chain being recognised as a business partner in the industry.

   

WERNER PELSER 

SAPICS Director 

 

Werner Pelser is an experienced supply chain leader within the Retail Industry. Werner brings to his position a well-established background of 29 years in production, logistics and supply chain, across the motor, construction and retail industries. He can be recognised as a retail logistics and distribution centre expert, coupled with extensive knowledge in developing international business processes and units. Werner’s capstone of his tenure in the industry is to build positive and creative work environments through goal setting and employee empowerment and enablement. Werner’s value to SAPICS will come from his passion in continual refinement of processes and focus on team growth with alignment of vision and mission of the organisation and shareholders.
