Colin Seftel is a trainer and consultant with PSQ CC, Cape Town, South Africa. He has had 20 years hands-on experience as an operational manager with Petrel Engineering, a manufacturer and major exporter of marine equipment. He graduated with a B.Sc. (Engineering) from the University of London and has various certifications by APICS. He has been a consultant to various companies and regularly presented APICS training courses since 1994, initially on a part-time basis, then full-time from 2009. He was a member of the APICS Board of Directors from 2013-15 and SAPICS from 2009-12.

INGRID DU BUISSON, EXECUTIVE OFFICER - FORWARDING & CLEARING CHAMBER, TRANSPORT EDUCATION TRAINING AUTHORITY


Ingrid commenced her career in skills development and training in 1995 with the Maritime Industry Training Board (MITB) as an Education Training & Development Practitioner. She holds various qualifications in the field of training and development, as well as business and project management respectively. Ingrid is currently in the process of completing a Master’s degree.

Currently, Ingrid is facilitating the development of occupational qualifications in Supply Chain Management in partnership with the QCTO, and has developed in collaboration with industry a career framework for Supply Chain Management in International Logistics in an attempt to professionalize the industry, this process is ongoing. Ingrid continues to ensure that employees and potential entrants into this industry become fit for purpose so as to address the scarce skills required within the industry.

CHANTAL KADING, FOUNDING MEMBER & MANAGING DIRECTOR, PEOPLE SHOP

 

Chantal Kading is the founding member and Managing Director of The People Shop, celebrating more than a decade as the Career Consultancy and Executive Search and Recruitment firm to Supply Chain Management Profession. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honors in Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch, and NMP from Wits Business School. She is a registered Psychometrist with the HPCSA and Certified Master NLP Practitioner through the American Board of NLP and Master Time Line Therapy Practitioner. She is a member of the Golden Key Society, Sapics and currently serves on the Vice Chairperson for CIPS Western Cape. Certified EQ Assessor and Facilitator through Genos International.

 

She is passionate about driving Professionalism within the Supply Chain Profession and elevating this discipline into the board room. She does motivational speaking to High School students and Unemployed Youth through the Amy Foundation, on life skills and career orientation as well as runs Career Clinics for Students and professionals. Her personal Mission Statement, to Raise Corporate and Social Consciousness by Forging and Nurturing Raw Talent!

LIEZL SMITH, OWNER, BUSINESS6 CONSULTANTS

 

Liezl Smith is a professionally registered Industrial Engineer with a passion for Supply Chain Management, both from a process and optimisation point of view.


For the last 14 years, she has been running her own consulting and training business, specialising in the field of business planning and optimisation, including demand management, S&OP, logistics and warehouse management. She has a number of large corporate clients and delivers standard as well as customised solutions and training both locally and internationally.
